Ready for next Summer, underwear and sleepwear company HANRO will be releasing a loungewear collection for women, Pure Comfort, made of 100% TENCEL, a bio-based fabric produced by Lenzing. This material has a ‘forest to fabric’ approach as it derived from wood, and brings with it some of the properties of trees, having high moisture absorption and enhanced breathability.
The Austria based Lenzing, create these certified bio-based fibres from wood pulp coming from natural forests and sustainably managed plantations, and thus can fully decompose and return to nature.
TENCEL fibers have earned United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred designation and have been certified by the Belgium certification company Vinçotte as biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions, thus they can fully revert back to nature.
The Basic collection from HANRO includes four styles a long-sleeve, A-line shaped shirt, a cardigan, bermuda shorts with pintuck piping, and long pants, available in trend colours Cloud Dancer and Black Coffee which can be combined with other loungewear styles from the SS21 collection.
